The Forest.

I woke up all alone this night and while I look around to find out were I am all I see is darkness.I start to realize that my worst fear is in action. I'm all alone and with no clue as to were I am. I stand up and begin to look around and I notice the outlines of thick low lying trees around me. The ground is rough and I can here twigs start to crack as I walk around.I must look like a fool walking around here at night with my arms in front of me as if I was a zombie. As I walk forward a horrible smell starts to increase. I smell rotting flesh. I'm walking forward when my foot catches a root and I fall. The smell of rotting flesh is amazingly stronger. I stand up and notice a punching bag like outline hanging from a tree branch right in front of me.I push it to see what it is and it swings back then forward again knocking me backwards a bit in the process. As it hits me I notice it's a bit damp and dripping. There's a pool of liquid beneath it because I can feel it with my feet. I'm touching it more when I realize my hands are starting to become wet with something. I step back to examine it some more. I never could believe what I'm seeing right now but the evidence is stained on my hands and it's the clawed remains of a hanging body. I knew there would be creatures in the forest when I was young.

A Top Three of Musical Sorts

I have painstakingly chosen the top three songs that I listen to most on my Mp3 player and although it's hard to decide I think I have chosen wisely.I have organized this list by the general tune and how the end result sounds. Another important factor in this list is how enjoyable it actually is to me. You can also click the links to hear the song yourself. This is the the top three list:

3.16 Military Wives- The Decemberists

I choose this song for number three because I like the unique sound this band generates. The drummer keeps a constant beat which is enjoyable and The singer has a unique sound to his voice. This genre of music is usually called Indie Rock, because it is a bit abstract and generally more creative than the mainstream aspect of "rock".This song is in at number three also because it becomes a bit repetitive after a while so it gets a bit old in large doses.

2.The Betrayers- A Plea For Purging

I choose this song for number two for the singer's intense and "hardcore" voice and the technical guitar riffs in the beginning. I enjoy the upbeat aspect of the song as well as the guttural singing. This genre of music is also my favorite and that is another reason why this song is on the top three list as number two. One downfall that I dislike about this song is that it needs more variety in it, because the guitar riffs get a bit repetitive by the end of the song.

1.Take Me Now- Bless The Fall

This song has landed itself as number one for good reasons. The amazing vocal scream at the beginning after the laugh is absolutely genius and a scream like that is hard to learn. I enjoy the variety in this song because it has both regular singing combined with the screams. As well as the singing the guitar riff in this song and the tempo are really enjoyable to me but may be annoying to people that enjoy that feeble country music. One thing that I dislike about this song but isn't that big of a bother is the lyrics are not that in depth.

Going To California...

"Someone told me there's a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair. Took my chances on a big jet plane, never let them tell you that they're all the same. "

Theese are lyrics from Led Zeppelin's song "Going to California". Theese lyrics fill me with an unexplainable feeling. I think you could pick any Led Zeppelin lyrics and they will do that to you. The main reason I picked theese lyrics is because of the imagery in them; because how nice does a girl with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair sound? I also enjoy the message at the end which states " Never let them tell you they're all the same.". I get the idea that there's a perfect person for everyone out there even if you have to travel great distances, but always believe what you feel and not to be influenced by your fellow peers.

This is me, in my dreams.

Today the clouds blocked out the sun. Randy walked out of his beat up old house, yet the clothes he wore on his back suggested he lived in a much more approachable house. The lower lip piercings screamed teenage rebellion along with the black skinny jeans and Freddy Kruger type shirt. The sky was still dark from the clouds but Randy thought it was a nice day for a walk past the cemetery. As the wind blew it tended to ruin his hair. His hair it was parted to one side and fairly long, yet very straight.

Afghanistan

I know we have troops in Afghanistan and some of them have been killed. It's not our war I know that too, but I have never thought anything about it before. Honestly it has never crossed my mind and I never think about it on a daily basis. Now that I know more about it and have been forced to think about it I will probably pay more attention to how are troops are doing over there. That is all.

What to do with these blogs.

So what to do with blogs. I would like to write about my common interests. Things such as music, T.V. and movie reviews. Out of all of those my top favorite would be the movie reviews. One thing maybe to consider as a topic is recommendations; we could recommend good movies to our class mates or an interesting song we utterly adore. Another more school related topic to write upon would be world events and our opinion on them. For marking I would prefer we get a completion mark not be marked on the six point scale. Those are my opinions.

If I Could?

If I could have any superpower in the world what would it be? Personally I want to be able to lift a truck over my head. For one thing, if you could lift a truck over your head people would flock to see you. It could make you world famous or people would see you as a freak of nature. Super strength would allow me to do pretty much whatever I wanted and it would just be cool. If I wanted to I could stand in front of a moving train put my hand out and watch it as it stopped by only the force of my one hand. I could catch a landing plane if I so choose too. It would make me feel powerful and if the event arises were someone needs to save the world, I would be an eligible contestant.
